Whistles SS13 Lookbook: Boyfriend Denim

So while I was doing my usual online browsing before payday hits, I came across a new Capsule Collection by Whistles, based on Boyfriend Denim. Simple Boyish Shapes worn with oversized jumpers and simple leather accessories makes it a beauty of a capsule! This is my kind of thing- simple shapes made from beautiful fabric in soft hues of pink, green and black. Perfecto!

My Favourite piece is the soft khaki Herringbone Jacket, I love the silk fabric and the simplicity of the shape. I'll definitley be saving my pennies to get my hands onthis baby! I also love the Black Ankle Stap Court Shoes, again I really wanna buy these, but I have got so many Black court shoes I keep thinking should I, Shouldn't I?!! Girl Problems hey?

What do you think of the Collection by Whistles? Anything catch you eye? Please let me know what you think and follow me on GFC and Bloglovin' if you like what you see...

How was everybody's weekend? Mine has been a bit of a rocky one and Ive certainly been dressing that way too! Do you guys dress differently depending on your mood that week?! Or is it just me?
I thought I'd share with you my outfit from yesterday when I went out and about in Buxton with my lovely boy! I was feeling glum and this outfit sure shoes that i mean black, black, black!! Although its dark I'm hoping it doesn't look dull, dull, dull... Whacha think?

New Buys.

Happy Easter to you all! How's everybody's weekend so far?! I've got a few things planned and I'm currently back in Manchester enjoying family time. I've mainly spent the last week buying new bits of clothing for the days ahead and I thought I'd share with you my new buys, so take a look below!

I bought 2 lovely tops, one from COS and one from &other stories, i also bought some trousers from H&M and shoes from Primark. Boy have I given some money to Hennes & Mauritz this week.

I bought the lime top from COS for £39. I think this is quite steep for a tshirt style top, but it is made in some lovely silk fabric that has a slight metallic look to it. The black tee from &other stories has a white mesh stripe running through which is a more relaxed way to wear the Monochrome trend. The geo print trousers are an absolute bargain for £14.99 from the wonder that is H&M. A pop of colour in the form of cobalt blue is just what I needed right now! And the shoes, oh the shoes!! I've been looking for a pair of heeled sandals for so long and I was stunned to find these baby's in Primark for just £12.

What do you guys think of these? Have you bought anything wonderful lately? Please leave your comments and links!

LFW: Day 3

Burberry Prorsum: AW 13

The latest collection from the British genius Christopher Bailey comes under the name 'Trench Kisses' and boy was it fantastic. Based on sixties showgirl Christine Keeler, there was a hint of her controversial life in every look.

A mix of the Burberry Heritage and Keeler's questionable lifestyle, resulted in a beautiful juxtaposition of classic Trench Coats made from Latex and Rubber. Formal pencil skirts in leopard print and sheer latex alongside cute knitwear with pretty collars was match made in heaven; Maybe something to take the edge of the kinky Keeler aura.

No matter whether this was your thing, my thing, or Burberry's thing, it's safe to say Christopher Bailey and Cara made Kitten Heels cool again.

Take a look at my favourite looks below;

LFW: Day 1

There is so much to take in during Fashion Week and on opening day we saw so many wonderful sights.....Below are a couple of my favourite shows from today. Enjoy!

Moschino Cheap and Chic: AW 13

This may be Moschino's Diffusion line, but the catwalk offered nothing but luxury. Moschino Cheap and Chic absolutely killed it with pretty pinks juxtaposed with black patent and leopard print to form a girly Gothic vibe.

David Koma: AW 13

The show unfolded with a futuristic theme; models paraded the catwalk in sculptured creations, using music as inspiration. Outwear and dresses followed the shape of an old record and played magically as a pop of colour was injected in the form of bright red. Fantastically futuristic and going against the idea of Koma as the body con man, we see a new direction that is perfectly paying off.
