STYLE | Midi

Jumper- Primark (in store now)
Shoes- Primark (sale, similar here)

The midi skirt has been a staple piece in my wardrobe for a while now and especially this one. Bought a few seasons ago and in a great shade of mulberry it seems this little beauty keeps coming out of the woodwork. I love the colour and the fit is just perfect...I'd have it an array of colours if I could! A fluffy jumper is a priority in my winter wardrobe this season and being cropped makes it just that little bit cuter teamed with a Midi. My heeled loafers are my bargain of the month, or year should I say. Priced at £6 in a Primark sale, these are so cheap and are practically the same as the ones in other high street stores which a retailing so much higher. It would have been silly not to indulge, hence they are now my go to shoes. A bargain if I do say so myself. Thoughts my dears?

2 in 1

If you're like me and the majority of others in the UK, you'll also love a bit of summer, when we get it that is. What better way to celebrate this than in the form of a new summer wardrobe?!! In honour of this I wanted to share with you my favourite summer look of the season- The Co-Ord or 2 Piece to you and me.

These are a few of my favourite 2 pieces at the moment. I particularly love the ISWAI tailored suit, I mean how amazing for summer is this? So so cute and at a great price! I also love the RI Kaleidoscope set, the pattern is so pretty and I love the fit of the trousers!!! What do you think of them? Is there anything you want to get your hands on? Leave a comment and your links below!

Georgia Hardinge X River Island Design Forum

If you haven't yet heard of Georgia Hardinge, really where have you been? Graduating from Parsons School of Design in Paris and residing here in London ensured Georgia had a great start to her career. In 2010 I was lucky enough to intern with her over the summer and assist on her first show at London Fashion Week. That year Hardinge went onto to win the Vauxhall Fashion Scout Merit Award and the rest they say is history.

Taking inspiration from art and sculpture the collection has everything you'd expect from the designer; Prints, sculptured details and chic silhouettes are presented beautifully in hues of moody charcoal, bright white and softer shades of grey. The boyish shirts juxtaposed against feminine body con dresses are the kind of thing Hardinge does so dramatically well. Accessories show hints of metallic and the shoe of the season (flatforms) are updated with a sculptured trim. If you're the kind of girl who would like to put a twist on the Spring/Summer trends then this is the place to do it and to do it well. Take a look at the full collection here.

The River Island Design Forum Collection is another one of Hardinge's wonderful milestones in her career. Gaining exposure with the high street giant means more and more people will learn about her and even more will love her.

What do you think of the collection?
