Fancy Footwork

WAHEY! It's weekend and what better way to spend my morning than browsing the internet for my favourite item of clothing. Shoes, shoes and more shoes. Today my interest has been focused on Zara. Their new collection is uh-mazing. I literally want nearly every single piece, which is obviously great news for my bank balance.

Beginning with boots...now I know it is technically going to get warmer so buying MORE boots shouldn't be on my mind, however how can one resist? These double buckle cut out beauties in high shine pu are right up my street and frankly for £59.00 who wouldn't want them? The wrapped buckle shoeboot on the other hand is a great transitional piece which can be worn with both tights & bare legs. Reason to buy?...I think so too.

Moving onto some amazing court sandals in powder blue and pastel pink..admittedly I wouldn't wear them everyday, but they're the perfect shoe to add a little jazz to a simple black ensemble. The white block heel court is one of my favourite shoes I've seen for ages...the heel is bang on trend and it's in optic white. enough said?

Then we have some rather lovely sandals in cobalt blue. These are an update on the ones Zara had last season, which I missed out on (sad face) and with the addition of a metal plate they are given a little edge. At a price of £29.99 and in black too, i'll definitely be adding these to my wardrobe this season.

The loafers are beautiful, so easy to wear, but with a comfortable and sensible heel height which is always great for a commute or for work. The other flats are in the form of a cleated sole sandal in metallic silver. This sandal is going to be huge this summer and the double sole adds height which is something I LOVE, being on the small side.

All in all I think you'll agree Zara has done a rather fabulous job on the shoe front this season. Is there anywhere else I should be looking or do you agree that Zara is looking mighty fine? I'd love to know!

What A Girl Wants- September

Necklace- Topshop £17.50
Notebook- Smythson £110
Angora Knitted Jumper- Topshop £68
Leather Skirt- Zara £79.99

What a girl wants, what a girl needs was a hit for Christina and these beauties are on my hit list this month. Some are well out of reach, whereas some could be working their way into my wardrobe if I spend my money right this month. The winner on here for me has to be the Philip Lim Loafers, what I would do for those beauties, but at £470 they wont be making it into my wardrobe! So please please let me know if you spot anything similar on the high street. The Smythson notebook is beautifully finished with a leather sleeve, perfect for some notes on LFW, wouldn't you say? The necklace from Topshop and Skirt from Zara are unbelievable so I'll definitely be looking into gaining those this month. At the moment I'm feeling everything and anything related to mohair so this pastel blue cropped jumper is bloody perfect.

Are you lusting for anything this month?

ZARA: New Collection

Zara have done it again and this time even better. The launch of there new collection has seen me weeping into the sheets of my freshly changed bed. I literally feel severe pain in response to me not being able to own every single piece. I can treat myself to a few things and number1 on my list will be the super cute cow print skirt followed by the wintery check wool coat. I mean wowza's! I feel like Zara are just getting it right at the minute and for me they have definitely taken the crown away from Topshop for no1 high street retailer.

Whacha think honey's? Is Zara your go to place too?

Style | Leather Lover

I don't know about you guys but I'm absolutely in love with the weather and to celebrate I wear leather...okay okay I know it may not be the most practical but I can't shy away from my beloved leather mini, even  if it is 30degrees outside.

Top- Zara (sale)
Skirt- Topshop (old)
Boots- c/o Debenhams

To make this a little more acceptable I've binned the 50deniers and bared all. Teamed with my zara sale vest and Chelsea boots its perfect for a casual summers day in the office. The sun is going to keep on basking and so am I.

Now, can somebody please show me the pool?!

A day at the races.

I don't know about you but after checking out all the wonderful royal ascot looks on vogue.com for the whole week it suddenly struck me that I wouldn't have an idea what to wear to the races!! Firstly I wouldn't say it was my thing and secondly I've never actually been to even experience it.

With all that said I thought I'd put the kind of look I'd go for in an outfit post for you lovely people.

I'm not sure if you're suppose to wear black but I'd like to think this is a more laid back look, probably not suitable for Royal Ascot, but great for a day at the races, all Royals aside.

This chic and simple Beaut Black dress is from Topshop Boutique and £50. Jazzed up with iridescent accessories from Zara (who are on fire at the minute with regards to everything and anything). I decided to go for a dark red lippy from Illamasqua. Have you tried there products?...Insane!!! I didn't go for my usual MAC ruby woo colour, just thought the darker shade complimented the powerful look of the metallic shoes and bag. Completed with some vintage inspired rings from ASOS and voila! I'm ready to place some bets. Just have to get my self to The Races first.

What do you think? Is there something you'll be wearing at the races this summer?

OOTD#2- JW Anderson x Topshop

So how has everybody's week been? I must say I have had a really stressful week, so much going on at work with Trend Presentations and Designer Meetings in addition I've been trying to get fit! Such a hard life I know. Anyway I've been trying to record my day to day outfits to share with all you lovely people and here is my latest. I went shopping today and although the snow is out in full force and I would really liked to off wrapped up indoors, I couldn't help but put on one of my favourite tee's. I bought this wonderful quilted paisley top from the JW Anderson x Topshop Collection and I must say it's been one of my favourite purchases this year. Its a great buy- on trend and it can literally be worn in so many ways! What do you think of it?

Today I paired it with my faithful leather skirt from Topshop and a cute cropped white shirt that I bought last summer from Forever 21. Although the weather is dreadful I'm kind of trying to get in the Spring spirit and so I added a Pop of colour with a lovely yellow leather clutch bag from Jasper Conran at Debenhams.

Leather Skirt- Topshop
White Shirt- Forever 21

Here we go again...

So Zara have done it again, but this time with Cara Delevingne.

Each season I look forward to the Zara Video Look Book, it's a little different from their competitors and they always seem to bring an element of fun whilst always honoring there unbelievable range.

I could watch this over and over again....and I probably will.
